HTET 2019 Answer Key

Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has released the answer key of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2019 today, just two days after the exam. PDF files of level 1, 2, and 3 answer keys have been made available for download at bseh.org.in, which is right now facing some server issues. The direct pdf are available here.

Candidates can go through the answer keys now, and from November 21 to 25, 2019, submit objections against them in online mode. On the last date for objection submission, the window for the same will close at 5 pm. Those who had appeared in the exam can submit objections with proofs and facts, and fee of Rs 200 per question. The board will refund the fee amount for those questions against which objections were found to be genuine.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) was held on November 16 and 17, 2019. After the last date of objection submission, a final answer key will be compiled. Calculation of marks will be as per it. Based on marks obtained, candidates will be declared as qualified or not qualified, and qualified candidates will be issued the TET pass certificate which will make them eligible for teaching jobs.

It is compulsory to pass TET in order to become a teacher, as per the NCTE norms.

How To Calculate Marks Using HTET Answer Key 2019 And Compare With Cut Off?

All the questions in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test were multiple choice questions of one mark. There is no negative marking against incorrect answers. With the help of answer keys and the marking scheme, candidates can calculate their marks.

Those who have appeared for the state level teacher eligibility test for level 1 PRT, level 2 TGT, and level 3 TGT should respectively check answer keys of level 1, 2, 3. Therein also the set of the answer key which is being checked should match with the set of the question paper which candidate received in exam. It is to be seen whether the answer marked by oneself in the exam matches or not with the answer in the answer key.

The number of answers that match will be the number of correct answers. Marks for correct answers being 1, the total marks will equal number of correct answers only. For example if there are 40 correct answers, then marks will be 40.

The cut off for all categories except SC, DA or physically challenged is 60% that is 90 marks. The scheduled castes and differently abled or physically challenged of Haryana domicile need to score 55% or 82 marks. Whereas for SC, DA/physically challenged of other states, the cut off is 60% only that is 90 marks.

If marks obtained equals the cut off marks, or more, then candidate will qualify. However this is the preliminary answer key, and changes will be incorporated in the final answer key, as per which ultimately, the result will be compiled.
