JEE Main 2018 will be organised on April 8, 15 and 16, and no doubt you are ready to face one of the most competitive exams of the nation. With just 15 days in hands, preparation seems to be at its peak at this moment. Majority of the candidates are done with their CBSE exams for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects and now concentrating on the JEE Main 2018. So how are they planning their preparation in these last 15 days? Here are some well-preferred methods to prepare for JEE Main 2018 in 15 days.

With over 12 lakh students appearing for the JEE Main 2018 – in both online and offline modes, only the top 2.24 lakh will be eligible to appear in the computer-based test JEE Advanced 2018. It is high time that the aspirants use this time efficiently. This time gap is mostly utilised by many by taking up online mock tests to analyse each subject’s optimum preparation.

Many students also prefer joining crash courses to make sure they keep up with the recent question patterns under the experts’ guidance. Many believe in self-study by planning out a self-study plan for themselves. Whatever is the preparation method, it all churns down to the candidate’s will and dedication. Thus make sure you have a plenty of motivation to catch up with this last moment of JEE Main 2018 Preparation.

What should you be ready for in JEE Main 2018?

Be ready for some tricky and new pattern of questions. You may face some questions with lengthy calculations and question with two possible answers. If your concepts are clear and the preparation is thorough, there are no tricky questions as such, but there is no harm in being prepared for it.

Pro-Tip: Keep all the shortcut formulas at the tip of your tongue.

If you are planning a self-study routine, here is what many aspirants prefer to do. They divide these 15 days: 7 days+7 days+1 days. How this helps, here is the deal. The first 7 days are when you go through the topics that are important in the syllabus of JEE Main 2018 and you have less confidence in. Revise these chapters, don’t go very deep but make sure you have at least clear understanding of the basics and all the formulas. Dive into as many question papers of JEE Mains, solve at least 4 question paper this week.

In the next 7 days, revise the chapters and important questions from all the three subjects vigorously. Make sure you don’t leave any important question unturned and any formula unseen. Take few mock tests, but do not be overwhelmed with good marks or depressed if you get low marks. Make sure you are giving your mental health as much time as your preparation. Because staying healthy in both physical and mental level is important.

Finally the last day, This is the day which will depend on you, some prefer to study for long hours, some prefer to take a break and relax. But a majority believe in relaxing up, keeping cool and making sure their mind gets proper rest before the day of JEE Main Exam.

JEE Main 2018 Exam Patten: There will be 30 questions from each subject, with 4 marks for each correct answer and deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer. In mathematics, more weightage should be given to calculus and algebra. Electromagnetism and mechanics in physics cover most of the proportion of questions asked in the JEE Main. And as per the previous trend, more questions are expected from physical and organic chemistry.
