Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai (HITS) has started the HITSEEE 2021 Exam. The online proctored exam is scheduled to take place on June 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 2021. Aspirants who qualify the HITS engineering entrance exam (HITSEEE) can take admission in B.Tech, B.Des, B.Arch program.
The entrance examination for HITS was earlier scheduled to take place from April 28, 2021, to May 02, 2021. However, due to the second wave of COVID-19, the exam got postponed. The Institute sent an email with new HITSEEE exam dates 2021 to the eligible candidates. The information regarding the admit card, technical requirements for the exam was also conveyed through emails.
This year, HITSEEE is taking place as an online remote proctored exam. Candidates who have applied for the entrance exam have to appear for the exam at their home. They must have a suitable device such as a laptop/ desktop with a good internet connection to take the exam.
All the questions in the HITSEEE exam will be in the English language only. There will be 120 multiple choice questions from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidates will get 02 hours to complete the examination.
The HITSEEE result 2021 will be released on June 20, 2021. Candidates who participate in the entrance exam can download HITSEEE Rank List from hindustanuniv.ac.in. They can access the rank list by login with the application number and password or date of birth. In the rank card, candidates will get the details about the scores and rank obtained by a candidate in the exam. On the basis of the ranks secured by a candidate, they are called for the counselling rounds. The University also provides scholarships to the students who secure a good rank as per the rank list.
The selected candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 50,000/- in favour of the Institute before appearing for the counselling. The HITSEEE counselling will take place at the admission office in Chennai. As per the official website, the HITSEE 2021 Counselling will be organized from June 28, 2021 to July 09, 2021.
At the time of counselling, candidates are required to carry certain documents with them to the centre. They have to produce HITSEEE admit card, Class 10th certificate for date of birth proof, Community certificate (SC/ST) and Nativity certificate. With that they also have to carry two passport size photographs, a mark sheet of the qualifying examination and Payment of admission fee through RTGS/NEFT has to do in favour of the institute.
