Hindustan Copper Limited HCL Recruitment 2020: Apply Online for 290 Apprentice Posts

Interested candidates who are 10th pass or have ITI certificate can submit their online applications before July 25, 2020

Hindustan Copper Limited is inviting online applications for the post of Trade Apprentice in Khetri Copper Complex. The conducting body has announced a total of 290 vacancies. The vacancies are announced for Mate (Mines), Blaster (Mines), Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Surveyor. The application procedure for the Trade Apprentice recruitment ends on July 25, 2020.

Shortlisted candidates have to go through the training for a specific duration. For the post of Mate (Mine) candidates have to undergo a 03 years training. For the post of Blaster (Mines) and Diesel Mechanic, shortlisted candidates are trained for 02 years. A 01-year training session is conducted for Fitter, Turner, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Surveyor.

To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed 10th standard under the 10+2 education system. Plus, ITI pass certificate from the concerned trade from a recognized institute is required for the post of Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Welder (Gas & Electric), Electronics Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Surveyor. Candidates who possess higher educational qualification than the prescribed qualification are not considered for the post. The minimum age limit for the candidate is 18 years as on July 10, 2020. Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed as that of 30 years. However, the age limit is relaxable for the reserved category.

Candidates have to register themselves first for an apprenticeship in Government of India portal, apprenticeship.gov.in. Registration in apprenticeship is mandatory for all the candidates whether they are applying on 10th basis or ITI basis. After the registration, candidates must fill the online application form through hindustancopper.com. Only one application should be submitted by one candidate. In case the marks of 10th standard are in CGPA then they must convert it in percentage by multiplying with 9.5.

The candidates are shortlisted for the specified trade based on the marks secured in 10th and ITI. 30% weightage is given to ITI certificate in trade and 70% is allocated to 10th standard. In case, no ITI is required for the post then 100% weightage is for marks secured in 10th board. An additional 10 marks are given to the dependents of the existing employees of HCL/KCC. The list of shortlisted candidates for the post is expected to release on August 10, 2020.
