CBSE Class 10th and 12th Examinations 2019

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently come up with the confirmation of the dates of the examination for class 10th as well as class 12th. On the order of the High Court CBSE has decided to conduct the examinations for session 2019 a bit earlier. Examinations of class 10th and 12th will start from the month of February. The entire schedule of the examination is yet not released. CBSE officials said that the datesheet will be provided officially by the next week.

On September 26, 2018, CBSE has released the official notice regarding this. As per the notice, CBSE will first start with the vocational subjects in the month of February and by the month of March, CBSE will conduct the exams for the core subjects.

CBSE usually conducts the class 12th and 10th examinations from the month of March and by the end of April, the examination gets over. After the completion of the examinations, CBSE releases the result by the end of May followed by the result of the re-evaluation in the month of July. This creates a delay in the admission of the students in the various colleges across India. And also many students get failed to get admission in the college of their choice.

So, keeping in mind all these aspects On July 11, 2018, the High court directs the CBSE and the Delhi University regarding the upcoming session. HC orders the Delhi University to release the cut off date only after the re-evaluation result of the CBSE. In result of this, CBSE is going to conduct the 2019 examinations earlier than before.

There are total 40 vocational subjects for class 10th and class 12th. Thus, CBSE has decided to conduct the exams of the vocational subject in the mid of February. Subjects like typography, computer applications, graphics, office communication etc will conduct first as these are the subjects with long practical component while short theory component. The examinations of the core subjects will start from the from the month of March.

This step of conducting the examinations a slight before than the previous year will result in the declaration of the result of CBSE main examinations and re-evaluation earlier than the previous years.

CBSE will make the availability of the schedule of the examinations officially through its website- cbse.nic.in. To check and download your date sheet visit its official website. Click on the link of the date sheet available on the home page. After that, your desired schedule will appear in the pdf format. Check your schedule very carefully and download it.

The entire CBSE date sheet of class 10th and class 12th will be available by next week as per the official notice released by CBSE.

All The Best!
