Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE), has cancelled HBSE 10th Board exams 2021. The board took this huge step today, a day after CBSE announced cancellation of class 10th exams and postponing of 12th boards exams. As per the report, for now, only class 10th exams have been cancelled. However, for now, class 12th exams have been postponed. The decision on class HBSE 12th boards exams will be announced later on.
Earlier, HBSE class 10th exams were due to start from April 22 and class 12th exams were to be held from April 20. However, looking at the worsting situation of COVID-19 in the nation, the broad had to keep safety of students over conducting the exams. The announcemnet regarding the same was made by DPR Haryana. In his official twitter handle, he tweeted, “Big news: Haryana Board’s 10th exam has been cancelled on the lines of CBSE. The state government has also postponed the examinations of class 12.”
The board had already released the class 10 and 12 board exam admit cards. Moreover, the board also altered the exam timings for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams.

Haryana Board, HBSE, will announce the revised date for class 12th students after carefully reviewing the current pandemic situation. Earlier, HBSE Class 12 exams were scheduled to be held from April 20 to May 17, 2021. As and when the revised exam dates are announced, students can check the same from its official website, which is, bseh.org.in. It is advised to the parents and students to keep a check on the official site for more updates on Haryana Board Exams 2021. As far as now, the Haryana Board class 10th exams are canceled and a decision regarding Class 12 exams will be taken later.
Last year too the board faced a similar situation when due to COVID-19 class 10 exams were cancelled. The board conducted the exam for the Science paper only and the class 12 exam for postponed papers was held in the month of July. Hence, students can expect the same this year. Based on the previous year’s information, it can be expected that HBSE class 12th postponed exams shall be held by the 1st week of July.

The board has not provided any update on Open school class 10th and 12th exams. As per the schedule released, Haryana Open School Class 10th exams will be held between April 22 to 12 May 2021. Whereas, HOS class 12th exams are going to be held from April 20 to May 17. Furthermore, the board also released the admit card for Haryana Open School class 10 and 12th students for download online at its official website.
