The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar will be soon releasing the SSC 2022 result. Students who have appeared for the exams will be able to check the same via the official website – gseb.org. As per reports, the Board is going to announce the SSC and HSC results in June, 2022; though the date is not yet confirmed. To access the results as and when they are declared, students will need to use their roll number and seat number. Unlike last year, this year, the exams were conducted in the offline mode following necessary COVID-19 protocols.
News reports also suggest that the Gujarat Board SSC result 2022 will be declared sometime after June 10, 2022. Students can expect the results by the mid of June, i.e. by June 15, 2022. GSEB conducted the SSC and HSC examinations from March 28, 2022 till April 09, 2022.
To qualify for the examination, a student needs to secure a minimum of Grade D in all subjects. In case they have received E1 or E2 grades, then they have to improve their performance via supplementary or compartment exams. As per estimation, more than seven lakh students had appeared for the Gujarat Board SSC 2022 exam. So far, the Board has already announced the results for HSC Science on May 12, 2022. The pass percentage for the Science stream stood at 72.02%. The results for the remaining streams Arts and Commerce are yet to be declared.
Where to check?
Once the results are out, students and guardians can check the same from the official website gseb.org and gsebeservice.com. Although they can still use third-party websites, it is still advised to crosscheck the Gujarat Board SSC result 2022 with the official websites. Once the link for checking the results is activated, students have to just enter their seat number and roll number and access the results.
Previous Year Statistics
In 2021, the exams had to be cancelled keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, all students were declared ‘pass’ in the exam. The results were announced on June 30, 2022. In total, 857204 students had registered for the exam but the exams could not be conducted due to the pandemic. A total of 17186 students had secured A1 while 57362 students received A2. Despite that, 173732 students also got Grade D in the board exams. However, in 2020, the pass percentage of class 10 board exams was 60.64%.
