Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board has released a notice regarding the GSSSB Head Clerk exam date 2021 on the official website, gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. As per the notice, the written exam for GSSSB Head Clerk is going to be held on December 12, 2021, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The notice also talked about the GSSSB Head Clerk admit card 2021 and stated that it shall be released at least 10 days before the examination. With this, we can assume that the admit card can be available from December 02. 2021. Candidates are advised to stay in touch with the official website for all the latest updates regarding the GSSSB Head Clerk admit card.
Since the examination is been held in the OMR mode, hence the answer key for the examination will be released after the examination is over. The official notice for GSSSB was released earlier this year announcing 157 vacancies for the post of Head Clerk.
The GSSSB Head Clerk selection process includes a written examination followed by a computer proficiency and computer practical test. The written examination is going to be held in the OMR method with 200 questions accounting for 200 marks from Gujarati Grammar & Literature, English Grammar, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning. Candidates will get 120 minutes to solve the complete paper and there is a prescribed negative marking of 1 mark for each correct answer.

Whereas, the computer proficiency test is going to be held for three subtests i.e. English typing, Hindi typing, and Computer practical and candidates will get sectional timing of 30 minutes, 20 minutes, and 50 minutes respectively to complete the test. This test is going to be held for 100 marks and this examination is also qualifying in nature. The final merit list for successful candidates is going to be prepared after the computer practical test is over.
Candidates who qualify all the rounds of GSSSB Clerk shall be getting paid as per the 7th CPC of the state of Gujarat.
