Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, conducted the GSET 2021-22 examination successfully today, January 23, 2022. The Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) 2022 was held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at selected centres across the state. Candidates who appeared for the exam had to identify the right options and mark the same in their OMR sheet. The eligibility test was purely objective in nature and held in the pen-and-paper format. This exam was held to admit qualified and eligible individuals to various PG courses such as M.Com, M.Sc. and M.A.
GSET 2022 Exam Pattern & Scheme
As mentioned before, the GSET 2022 examination was held for a duration of 3 hours, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The test was held in the form of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I comprised of 50 questions for a total of 100 marks while Paper II contained 100 questions for 100 marks. There was no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions. All questions were objective-based consisting of multiple choices. For the sake of convenience, the question paper was printed in both English and Gujarati languages.
GSET 2022 Over, What Next?
After the successful conduct of GSET 2022, Maharaja Sayajirao University will be releasing the provisional answer key on gujaratset.in. Looking at previous-year records, candidates can expect this document to release tomorrow, January 24, 2022, itself.
An objection facility will also be provided for candidates to communicate their issues or concerns with the provisional key. All valid objections will be incorporated to release the final draft and results at a later stage. But, to avail this facility, candidates will have to pay a certain fee amount (last year, the amount being Rs.1000/- per question).
GSET 2022 Answer Key
Maharaja Sayajirao University will be releasing two types of answer keys on its official portal – provisional and final. The provisional draft is likely to release tomorrow, although the university has not yet, specified a fixed date. But for those curious nuts out there wanting to check the answers today, several educators have released the answer keys online. These are mostly in the form of video-based solutions on YouTube. Candidates can refer to educators such as Byju’s Exam Prep and Limitless Literature for such videos.
GSET 2022 Result
The GSET 2022 result will be calculated on the basis of right options specified in the final answer key. Score cards will also be hosted on the official portal, but the university has not provided any specific date for result declaration. Usually, the GSET results are announced online and later, individual scorecard is set to each candidate via post. A similar process is likely to happen this year. However, there is still a month’s time for result declaration. In the meantime, candidates can determine a tentative score using unofficial answer keys available online.
