Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has successfully conducted the Rajyaseva Prelims Paper 1 today, January 23, 2022. The first paper was held for a duration of 2 hours, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at selected centres across the state. Since the paper was entirely objective in nature, candidates were expected to identify the right option for each question and mark the same in their OMR sheets. They are also expected to score equal to or more than the cut-off marks for qualifying to the next stage – mains exam. This will bring them a step closer to filling-up one of the 290 posts available under this recruitment drive.
The MPSC Rajyaseva 2021 paper 1 was held through the OMR-based pen-and-paper mode. Candidates had a duration of 2 hours i.e., from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to attempt and solve the entire paper. The question paper comprised of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 200 marks. While unanswered questions carry 0 marks, 1/4 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. paper 1 tested a candidate’s understanding and knowledge base in terms of subjects like Current events of national & International Importance, History of India with special reference to Maharashtra, Geography of India & world, Polity & Governance, etc. Paper II is also going to be conducted today, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

MPSC Rajyaseva 2021 Paper 1 Over, What Next?
After the successful conduction of MPSC Rajyaseva 2021 Paper 1, candidates can expect the provisional answer key to release within the next 02-04 days i.e., by January 27, 2022. Along with the provisional draft, MPSC will also be providing an objection facility using which, candidates can communicate their issues regarding the answers. They will also need to provide valid reasoning to justify their objections. Thereafter, the commission will incorporate all the valid objections and release the final answer key, subsequently.
MPSC Rajyaseva 2021 Paper 1 Result
The MPSC Rajyaseva 2021 Paper 1 result will be evaluated on the basis of final answer key. Results will most likely be announced in the PDF format, on the official website mpsc.gov.in. This PDF document will contain a list of names shortlisted for the next stage along with marks obtained in the preliminary session. However, results will most likely come out after a month’s time. So, in the meantime, candidates can use the official answer key to calculate their tentative score.
As of now, there is no official information about the number of candidates who registered for the MPSC Rajyaseva 2021 Paper 1 examination. However, rough estimates suggest that more than 1 lakh candidates have applied for this recruitment drive containing 290 posts. So, it is safe to assume that the competition is tough and scoring a higher rank is needed to qualify for forthcoming stages.
