Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has announced GSEB SSC Result 2018. The result was declared today, on May 28, 2018, at 8:00 am. The students can check the result online, from gseb.org.
In order to check the result, the candidates firstly need to access the official website. Then, the students will have to select seat code (A, B, C, S, P) and enter seven digit seat number in the provided space. Lastly, click on the ‘Go’ button and check the displayed result.
The examination has been topped by Savani Hil Ishwarbhai, who scored 594 marks out of 600 in the exam. As per the news report, 7,89,693 students appeared for the examination. Of these, 5,32,605 qualified the examination and lead to a pass percentage of 67.5%.
The performance of the girls is better than that of the boys. The total number of male and female candidates is 68,5462 and 4,18,39, respectively. The number of qualified male candidates is 3,14,510, whereas, the same for the female candidates is 253682. There is a striking difference of 14.75% in the pass percentage, as the pass percentage for boys is 45.88% and that for the girls is 60.63%.
The students can get their Gujarat Board Class 10th mark sheet and documents from respective examination centers. The mark sheet will be distributed between 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
GSEB has also announced HSC Science result on May 26, 2018. However, it is yet to declare GSEB HSC Result 2018 for commerce and arts stream. The result for both the streams will be announced online, in the same manner. It is likely to be announced on May 31, 2018.
Students who are not satisfied with their performance in the examination can apply for the supplementary examination. The registration for supplementary exams will open in the month of June 2018. Through supplementary examination, candidates will get an opportunity to improve their performance in the exam.

Choosing a stream can be a tricky task but opt for those subjects which you actually like to study. The general perception is that science stream is the best stream but arts and commerce stream offers an equal number of career options. Do what you like, not what others are doing.
