The GUJCET 2019 Exam date has been declared as March 30, 2019. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) has made this announcement via an official circular over their official website, http://www.gseb.org. The notice also reads that the exam will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
It is expected, as per last year trends, that the application form to apply for the GUJCET 2019 exam will be available from the fourth week of February 2019. However, in the official circular, it is mentioned that the registration date will be made available later on. To fill the application form candidates have to enter personal details, education and school details. candidates will also have to upload the scanned copy of their recent photo and signature.
The exam will be in offline mode only, as the candidates have to mark their answers in OMR sheets. One more thing that the notice announces is that the GUJCET 2019 application form has to be filled online and the application fee will be Rs. 300/-.
The official notice also defines the GUJCET 2019 Exam pattern. Accordingly, the GUJCET 2019 exam will have 4 papers – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Each paper will be of 40 marks. Each question will carry 1 marks.
The syllabus of the GUJCET 2019 exam will be similar to the syllabus of 10+2 level. GUJCET is mandatory for admission in engineering courses in the colleges of Gujarat.
To apply for the GUJCET 2019 exam, the aspirant must be appearing or have passed the class 12th examination. In addition to that, they need a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the class 12 exam. 40% marks are mandatory for the for reserved category candidates. Another eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be the citizen of India and also a resident of Gujarat state. Those who are the resident of Gujarat but are residing outside Gujarat are also eligible to apply.
The exam is being conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) like every year. However, the counselling for admission based on GUJCET 2019 score will be done by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
