The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the GPAT 2022 notification and application form on the official website, gpat.nta.nic.in. Accordingly, the registration process for the Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test 2022 has already commenced on February 16 and will continue till March 17, up to 11:50 pm. In addition, the form correction window will be open for two days, i.e., from March 19 to 21, 2022. NTA has not mentioned any dates for the conduction of the examination and has notified that it will be announced later on the official website.
GPAT 2022 – Eligibility, Application Fee
According to the notification, applicants must meet the criteria of having completed a Bachelor‟s Degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates who are expecting their final results before the next academic year commences, that is, before the start of the 2022-2023 session, can also apply.
Candidates can fill out the online application forms by paying INR 2000, which is reduced to INR 1000 for female/SC/ST and third gender candidates. The candidate’s application form will be canceled if it contains any incorrect or misleading information and if more than one application is submitted.

How to Apply for the GPAT 2022
Step 1 – Visit the official website gpat.nta.nic.in
Step 2 – Fill in the relevant information on the registration form and generate the application form number.
Step 3 – To access the application form, log in using your application form number and date of birth.
Step 4 – Fill out the application form with the necessary information, such as personal and educational information, and save the information.
Step 5 – Attach required documents such as a handwritten scanned signature, a recent passport-size scanned photograph, and a Category Certificate (if applicable), among other things.
Step 6 – Choose the payment method that is most convenient for you and fill in the bank information appropriately. Take a printout or download the fee receipt as evidence after the transaction is complete.
Step 7 – Candidates should save the completed application form as well as the fee receipt for future reference.

GPAT is a national entrance exam for individuals seeking admission to M.Pharm programmes. There will be 125 multiple-choice questions in the exam, against which candidates will be given a time duration of 180 minutes. The candidate will receive four marks for each right response. When a response is wrong, one mark will be deducted from the overall score. The results of the GPAT exam will be valid for three years. As of now, the agency has not declared any date for the result declaration. Candidates who pass the GPAT can apply for scholarships from the NTA or the CSIR to pursue additional studies and research in the field of pharmacy.
