Government Medical College, Ananthapuramu has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of various posts under the administrative control of Principal. Candidates can submit the application to fill up the 183 vacant posts. The recruitment to the announced posts is purely on contractual basis. The recruitment is conducted for certain posts under the administrative control of the principal, Government Medical College, Ananthapuramu. The vacancies that are advertised for each post are as follows, Staff Nurse (108), Senior Assistant (02), Store Keeper cum Clerk (05), Junior Assistant (04), Data Entry Operator (05), Telephone Operator (03), Receptionist (03), O.T. Technician (06), Lab Technician Gr-II (05), Lab Attendant ( 03), Radiographers (03), Medico Social Worker Gr-II (02), Pharmacist Gr-II (03), Medical Records Officer (01), Medical Record Technician (02), Attenders (OS) (04), MNOs (10), FNOs (10) and Stretcher Bearer (04).
To apply for Staff Nurse, candidates must have GNM/B.Sc Nursing. Those who have any degree with the knowledge of MS Officer can apply for Senior Assistant, Store Keeper cum Clerk, Junior Assistant. Candidates with any degree with PGDCA are eligible for Data Entry Operator and Receptionist. 10th pass candidates are eligible for the post of Attenders, MNOs, FNOs, Stretcher Bearer, Lab Attendant. Candidates who have passed 12th standard can apply for Lab Technician, Medical Record Technician. Diploma in relevant fields is required for Radiographers, Medio Social Grade-II, Pharmacist Grade-II.
Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the announced posts. They have to ensure that they fulfil the required age limit. The upper age limit for Other category candidate is 42 years. 47 years for SC/ST/BC and 50 years for Ex-servicemen and PH candidates.
The application procedure is conducted through an offline process only. The application form can be download from the official website, anathapuramu.ap.gov.in. Candidates have to submit the filled-in application form through registered post or in person. The form and the document enclosed should be submitted at O/o Principal, Govt. Medical College, Ananthapuramu. Aspirants should attach filled in the application form, 10th pass certificate, 10+2 pass certificate, GNM/B.Sc Nursing pass certificate, mark sheet of the qualifying examination/registration certificate, internship completion/apprenticeship/clinical training certificate, caste certificate, study certificate from class 4th to class 10th, physically handicap certificate, a relevant certificate for ex-servicemen.
Along with all the documents, candidates have to attach a demand draft of Rs.200/-. The demand draft must be drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Principal. govt. Medical College, Ananthapuramu”. However, SC/ST/PH category candidates are exempted from the fee submission.
The selection procedure of the recruitment is conducted for 100 marks. Out of this, 75% marks are allotted to the aggregate marks secured in the qualifying exam. Up to 10 marks are allotted for each year after acquiring the requisite qualification. The rest 15 marks are allocated for the work experience that a candidate possess.
