Maharashtra HSC result 2020 has been declared by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). Students can check their result online at mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in, mahresult.nic.in. This year, a total of 1420575 number of students registered for HSC exam out of which 1413687 number of students appeared.
To check Maharashtra HSC result 2020, the students need to first visit the official website and click on the relevant link of the result. After clicking on the relevant link, the students have to enter their roll number as mentioned in Maharashtra HSC examination 2020 admit card and their mother’s first name. Next, the students have to click on the ‘View Result’ button. Lastly, the students have to download the result and take its printout for future references.

Talking about the date of declaration of Maharashtra HSC result, the Board’s chairperson Shakuntala Kale, some days back, in a virtual review meeting of the School Education Department informed that Maharashtra HSC result 2020 will be declared by July 15, 2020.
She said, “the process to declared the results have been fast-tracked and the results of HSC will be declared by July 15, 2020 and the SSC results will be declared by the end of July. She also added that almost 97% of the answer sheets have been submitted by the examiners during the lockdown and its scanning has also been fast-tracked”.
Those who qualify the exam need to get their mark sheets from their respective schools. But, since, the COVID-19 cases are rising continuously, the students can also download their mark sheets from the DigiLocker app.
This year, almost 15 lakh students appeared for Maharashtra HSC examination 2020. Last year, almost 14,89,837 students appeared for Maharashtra HSC examination. The overall pass percentage was 85.88%. The girls outperformed boys as their passing percentage was 90.25% whereas, the overall pass percentage of the boys was 82.40%. Konkan district bagged the first position with the pass percentage of 93.23%. Pune secured the second position with the pass percentage of 87.88%.
