Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has finally announced the Goa HSSC result 2019 today, April 30, 2019, at 11:00 am. Candidates who had appeared for class 12 examination can check their result on the official website- gbshse.org. Login details such as seat number and name are required to check the result.
In order to check the result, candidates have to first visit the official website. After that, click on the “HSSC Result 2019” link. Once the candidates will click on the link, a login window will appear. On this login page, candidates have to fill in their login details such as seat number or name. After filling the details, you have to click on the “Submit” button. Once the details are submitted successfully, your result will appear on the screen. The result will be available in the pdf form. The candidates can check their result and download it for future references.
Note: Before checking the results, the candidates are advised to keep their admit card along with them in order to avoid any delay at that time.
Class 12 examination was started on February 28, 2019, by the Goa Board and continued till March 21, 2019. However, the board also postponed the exam of banking, logic, computer science and co-operation due to the demise of CM Manohar Parrikar. Around 16959 candidates have given the class 12 examinations. Out of which 15,187 students have passed the exams. This means that around 2,210 students have not able to clear their exams successfully.

The prior year, a total of 18499 were registered for class 12th examination. However, the passing percentage of class 12 was 84.6%. Out of the total registered candidates, 15472 candidates passed the examination and 2882 were not able to qualify the examination.
If we talk about the number of girls and boys candidates who were registered for the class 12 examination, then a total of 9667 boys appeared for the exam. A total of 8832 girls appeared for the exam. Coming to the streamwise candidates, 4321 candidates appeared from Arts stream, 5595 students appeared from Commerce stream, and 5728 candidates appeared from Science stream.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) was established in the year 1974 in the month of May. It is considered as a state level board which is responsible for conducting both senior secondary examination and higher senior secondary examination. The main objective of the board is to spread the knowledge among all the people in the state. It is also responsible for preparing the textbooks for all the standards of secondary and higher secondary examination.
