Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh has released an official recruitment notification inviting eligible applicants to fill up 311 vacancies. The vacancies are in the Government General Hospital, Kakinada, East Godavari District. Aspiring candidates can download the advertisement at ap.gov.in. Eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment by forwarding completed applications to the authorities on or before July 18, 2020. Provisional merit lists are expected on July 30, 2020, while the final merit lists are to be released on August 04, 2020. The document verification process is to be conducted on and from August 05 to August 07, 2020. The issue of appointing orders is to be done on August 12, 2020.
As per the recruitment notification (Rc. No. 1532/N.1/2020), there are 278 vacancies for the post of Staff Nurse.In addition, there are 04 vacancies for the post of Lab Technician, 02 for the post of Pharmacist, 01 for the post of Dark Room Assistant, 02 vacancies for the post of Operation Theater Assistant, and 10 vacancies each for the posts of Male Nursing Orderly and Female Nursing Orderly. In addition, there is also 01 vacancy position for Child Psychologist and 03 vacant positions for Receptionist cum Clerk.
Candidates must not have completed 42 years of age as on 01.07.2020 in order to be eligible for the recruitment. GNM/B.Sc. qualified candidates can apply for the post of Staff Nurses. Those who have completed 2 years Diploma in MLT after SSC are eligible for the post of Lab Technician. Candidates having other equivalent qualification as specified in the detailed advertisement are also eligible to apply for Lab. Technician. Candidates having a M.A. Psychology degree can apply for the post of Child Psychologist. Graduate candidates with PG Diploma in Computer Applications can apply for the post of Receptionist cum Clerk. Candidates having D. Pharma/B. Pharma qualification are eligible to apply for the post of Pharmacist. Those who have qualified in training course for Dark Room Assistant are eligible to apply for the post. Candidates with 10th pass qualification and First Aid Certificate having 05 years of experience are eligible to apply for the post of Theater Assistant. 10th pass candidates having First Aid Certificate and First Aid course are eligible to apply for the posts of Male & Female Nursing Orderly.
The selections are to be done on the basis of merit. Out of the total of 100 marks awarded in the selection, 75% marks are allocated to the score of candidates in their qualifying examinations (aggregate marks obtained in all the years of the qualifying degree/diploma/certificate). 15% marks are allocated to the employees of 104 (MMU) in HDS/CDS/Arogyasri/Trauma care/APSACS and other government schemes on a contractual or outsourcing basis. 10 marks in total are allocated to the number of years completed by the candidates after acquiring qualification.
Post selection, the candidates are appointed on a contractual/outsourcing basis for an initial period of 01 years only. Child Psychologists are entitled to receive a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs 49520. Receptionist cum Clerk post holders are entitled to receive Rs 22387. Staff Nurses are entitled to receive Rs 34000 while candidates in the posts of Pharmacists and Lab Technicians are entitled to receive Rs 28000. Dark Room Assistants are entitled to receive Rs 24421. Those who are appointed at the post of Operation Theater Assistant are entitled to receive Rs 14250. Candidates appointed to the posts of Male and Female Nursing Orderly are entitled to receive Rs 12000 monthly remuneration.
In order to apply, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 300. The application fee must be deposited to savings bank account in favor of The Chairman, Hospital Development Society, Government General Hospital, Kakinada. The account number is 480201010014203 of Bank of Baroda, GGH Branch Kakinada, IFSC Code: VIJB0004802. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD and ESM categories have to pay a discounted fee of Rs 200.
The application form downloaded from the website must be filled up completely and signed. Along with the application, specified documents in the form of attested copies must be enclosed in addition to the original copy of the fee receipt. All applications must be sent by Registered post or submitted in person to the special counter in the Office of the Superintendent, Government General Hospital, Kakinada on or before the last date.
