The Karnataka State Government has taken a first of its kind step in the digitalization of education & learning post the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this week, the Karnataka CM B.S. Yediyurappa launched GetCetGo, an online learning platform featuring crash courses for NEET, JEE and KCET preparations. The application is available through the official website getcetgo.in, YouTube channel by the name GetCETgo and as an android application available through Google PlayStore. GetCetGo features videos, synopsis, interactive tests etc. at a price of less than Rs 40 for registered candidates.
How to Use GetCetGo Web Portal?
One of the ways to access the latest e-learning platform GetCetGo is through the official web portal i.e. getcetgo.in. Interested students can access the web portal using any computer or even a smartphone with web browsing capabilities. Once on the web portal,users have to Register first by clicking on the corresponding link.
On the registration form, users must fill up mandatory details including name, gender, board, class, area type, district, taluk, college/school name & type, email ID, mobile number. In addition, one must also set and confirm a login password & select the courses (KCET/NEET/JEE) for which they intend to use the web portal. Registered candidates have to Login with the Mobile Number & Password to access the contents from the web portal.
How to Use GetCetGo Android Application?
In order to use the GetCetGo platform through the android application, one must open Google PlayStore on a compatible android device & install two applications viz. the GetCetGo application and Edureader application. Contents accessible through the android application can be viewed on the Edureader application. One must note that as of now, the application is not available for iOS(Apple) users. Thus iOS users have to access the platform from the web portal or YouTube.
Once the application is downloaded, candidates have must allow all permissions. Now on the homepage of the application, unregistered candidates have to click on Register and register themselves in a similar manner as explained in preceding sections for using the web portal. Already registered candidates can proceed to tap on Login on their android device and then log in with the Mobile Number & Password to access the contents of the GetCetGo application.
How to Use GetCetGo on YouTube?
The easiest way to get access to useful content for preparations of KCET, NEET and JEE is through the YouTube channel launched under the same branding GetCetGo. There is no need for registering or logging in to access the e-learning videos available on the platform’s YouTube channel.
Interested users have to simply open the YouTube application from the device or using any web browser and then search for GetCetGo. A complete list of video learning resources are available for NEET, JEE and KCET examinations. Subscribing the channel will automatically bring notifications of latest videos uploaded on the channel.
