GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Uttarakhand is inviting applications to fill up vacancies for various posts of Consultant and Associate. The Institute has published an official recruitment notice in this regard at the website gbpihed.gov.in. Eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to send their applications in the prescribed proforma for recruitment into the 05 vacancies announced for the aforementioned posts. Applications must be sent to the specified email on or before August 14, 2020.
As per the detailed recruitment notification, there are 05 vacancies available altogether. One vacancy each is available for the posts of Senior Consultant (i.e. Distinguished Scientific Fellow), Consultant-A (i.e. Fellow) or Associate, Consultant-A (i.e. Fellow System Administration), Associate (i.e. Portal Development Associate) and Consultant-A (i.e. Fellow). All of these posts are to be filled up on a temporary basis under the various centers/projects that are Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. The selection of eligible candidates is to be done through virtual interview i.e. through audio/video channels of communication.
Candidates must ensure that they meet the specified minimum eligibility conditions before applying for recruitment to a particular post. For all of the advertised posts, the maximum permissible age is 65 years. Senior Consultants are required to have a Master’s degree in Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Medicine/Technology. Those having a Ph.D. along with 15 years of relevant experience are also eligible to apply for the post. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Science or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with 1-3/3-5 years of experience are eligible to apply for the post of Consultant-A/Associate. Such candidates must also have adequate knowledge of MS Office. For the post of Consultant-A (Fellow System Administration), candidates must have a Master’s degree in Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology. In addition, such candidates must also have 3-5 years of experience in DBMS, System Administration, Networking, etc. For the post of Associate, candidates must have a Master’s degree in Science or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. For the post of Consultant-A (Fellow), candidates must have a Master’s degree in Science along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of MS Office is also necessary to apply for this post.
