Gauhati University has declared the results for the undergraduate first semester courses. Students who have appeared for the exam can now check the result from the official website of the university at guportal.in. It must be noted that the results have been declared for both major and general courses. The exams were conducted in March and April, 2022. After checking the results, students must take a printout of the mark sheet that appears on the screen.
How to check?
Students must note that only the results for the UG first semester have been declared. The results for the remaining semesters and courses are yet to be announced, Meanwhile, students can still check the results by following the steps given below.
Step 1- Go to the official website of Gauhati University at guportal.in
Step 2- Select the result type and then specify the academic session
Step 3- After that, select degree type followed by course and faculty
Step 4- The result will be displayed
Step 5- Crosscheck the same and take a printout for future use.

Gauhati University usually announces the semester examination results in the online mode only. The first semester exams were successfully conducted from March 30, 2022 to April 13, 2022. The results have been declared for the following courses.

Admit cards for the exam were released online. For checking the results, students may require to go through the admit cards for important details like roll number. The mark sheets contain the student’s name, roll number, college, course and the duration on which the exam was conducted. Below that, the marks scored by the student in each subject will be displayed. Note that the total percentage of marks and the overall SGPA will also be shown below the result. A generic PDF version of the results is also released in which the roll numbers of the students who have passed the exam are displayed.
