The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has announced the results for the GATE 2022 examination. Candidates who are yet to check their results can do so from the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in. With the declaration of the results, candidates seem to have started predicting their chances for getting into the desired college of their choice. There are two ways by which this can be done. The first one is the online tools and private websites that work as college predictors and the second one is the organic way, i.e. by referring to the previous year cut-offs.
GATE 2022 College Predictor
The college predictor tools are mostly free tools that one can use for predicting their chances of getting admission to the desired colleges. These tools have been developed based on the previous data of GATE cut-offs, the number of seats available in each college along with other factors. Using the GATE 2022 scores, candidates can get a tentative idea of getting a seat in the top institutes for M.Tech courses. Since these tools mostly work using the same algorithm, a generic overview of the process is given below.
Step 1- Visit any GATE 2022 college predictor available online
Step 2- Enter GATE 2022 score, marks and then select caste group and paper
Step 3- Click on the ‘Predict’ button to get the results.
