Question Paper Breakdown
An objective-based paper is designed for GATE Chemical Engineering. Questions will cover the General Aptitude and Subject knowledge of the candidate. Below mentioned is the detailed analysis of the examination.

- Marks allotted for General Aptitude = 15 Marks
- CH Subject Marks = 85 Marks
- Total Marks for CH = 100 Marks
- Total Time allotted = 180 Minutes
- There is no negative marking for a wrong answer in numerical answer type questions
- 1/3 mark will be deducted for 1 mark question
- 2/3 Mark will be deducted for 2 mark question
