The second shift of the second day of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 exam has just concluded. IIT Kharagpur successfully conducted the Agricultural Engineering exam along with 7 other subjects in the second shift today, February 06, 2022. Exams were conducted in an offline computer-based CBT mode at various affiliated centers across the country. According to reports, more than 3000 students appeared for the GATE 2022 Agricultural Engineering exam today.
Following the GATE 2022 exam guidelines, applicants reported at their respective examination center, an hour prior to the commencement of the exam. The GATE 2022 Agricultural Engineering exam was held for a total of 3 hours from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Objective-based Multiple Choice questions were asked in the exam. However, with the conclusion of the examination, candidates are now searching for the agricultural engineering answer keys.

IIT Kharagpur will soon release the GATE 2022 exams answer keys for all the subjects together on its official website. The answer keys will be released once the examinations for all the branches are concluded on February 13, 2022. The official answer keys are expected to be released by the 3rd week of February 2022. Once released students can access it through a simple login process.
Candidates eager to check the answers for today’s agricultural engineering examination are advised to refer to the unofficial answer keys released by various teachers and subject experts online. Currently, only a few coaching classes and subject experts have released the GATE 2022 AE answer key online. However, the answer keys of the remaining clauses shall be released in the upcoming days. Applicants are advised to not conclude anything from the scores calculated using the unofficial answer key as it may differ from the actual scores released by the Officials.
GATE AE 2022 – Question Paper Breakdown
The GATE 2022 AE exam paper followed the official GATE paper pattern as mentioned in their information bulletin. Objective-based Multiple Choice Question – MCQ, Multiple Select Questions – MSQ, and Numerical Answer Type – NAT questions were asked in the exam. Out of 65 questions that were framed in the exam, 10 questions were based on general aptitude. The Instrumentation exam weightage was divided into 3 main sections where 15% was given to General Aptitude, 15% to Engineering Mathematics, and the remaining 70% to branch subjects.
The total weightage of the question paper was 100 marks. The marking scheme that will be followed while evaluating the answer sheet is as follows: For questions having a weightage of 1 mark, ⅓ will be deducted for every wrong response whereas, for questions, weighing 2 marks, ⅔ will be deducted for every wrong response.
