Osmania University released the admission notification for foreign students for the upcoming academic year 2021-22 on April 06, 2021. The notification stating the admission process and course details were released on the official website osmania.ac.in. According to the notification, the university is inviting foreign students for admission to various UG, PG, diploma, and PhD courses. The online and offline admission process is scheduled to commence on April 09, 2021. The last date to apply for the preferred programme is June 30, 2021. However, PhD applicants can apply for admission throughout the year.
University authorities released the admission notification for foreign students yesterday i.e., April 06, 2021. Subsequently, the admission process is scheduled to begin on April 09, 2021. Candidates have the option to apply through online or offline mode. The last date to submit the duly-filled application form along with necessary documents is June 30, 2021. However, the deadline is not applicable for PhD programmes.
Candidates opting for the online mode must click on the “admission through online” button on the official website osmania.ac.in. Thereafter, they must register their names for the preferred programme. Students have to pay the student-cum-prospectus fee through one of the options like payment gateway, credit card, debit card, NEFT, etc. They must submit the proof of payment fee to the official email ID of URFO. This email ID can be either [email protected] and [email protected]
Before they begin filling the online form, candidates must keep certain important documents ready in the system. These include all pages of the passport (including empty pages) and certificate or mark sheets of the qualifying examination. A passport-size photograph, candidate’s signature and no objection certificate/migration certificate from the last studied university or institute (if applicable).
Candidates opting to apply for admission to offline mode can do so by applying physically if already in India or through an authorised person on their behalf. The authorised person must fill the application form and paste a passport-size photograph of the candidate. They must take a print-out of the application form and submit the same along with required documents.
The authorised person can pay the fee through the online or offline mode. In case of offline mode, the registration-cum-prospectus fee must be paid through a demand draft addressed to “Director, UFRO, OU”. The draft can be availed from any nationalised Indian bank payable at Hyderabad. Candidates may choose to pay the application fee through the online mode by following the steps mentioned above. The documents mentioned for the online process must be submitted during the offline process as well.
