National Board of Examination has released a public notice on September 07, 2019. According to the notice Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) – Screening Test is scheduled for December 14, 2018.
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) – Screening Test is conducted for Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India who holds the medical degree from the medical institution outside of India and wishes to get the permission to practice in India.
The availability of online application form for FMGE 2019 December session is expected in the month of October 2018. Candidate willing to appear for FMGE 2019 has to fill the application form through the website of NBE only. Before applying candidate should ensure that they are eligible FMGE 2019 Screening Test.
FMGE Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria for FMGE 2019 is as follow
Nationality: The candidate applying for FMGE 2019 must be the citizen of India. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) is also eligible to apply.
Degree: The candidate must possess the basic degree as mentioned by NBE.
National Board of Examination will send the Admit Card to the registered email if of the candidate. Candidate must check their email for FMGE Admit Card 2019.
The Admit Card for the screening test will be available to download 7 days before the examination. Candidates have to download FMGE 2019 Admit Card from the official website of NBE – http://www.natboard.edu.in.
FMGE 2019 Exam Pattern
Candidate appearing for the FMGE 2019 Screening Test must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus. The exam pattern helps the aspirant to know the nature of the exam. If still, you are unaware of the FMGE 2019 Exam Pattern then check it below.
The pattern of the examination is multiple choice questions (MCQ). The exam will be conducted online in computer-based test (CBT) in two shifts (Morning and Evening). Students have to answer total 300 question (150 question in each shift). Each shift exam will be conducted for 2hours and 30 minutes. The question will be available in English language only.
FMGE::Why the NBE, an autonomous organisation under Ministry of Health does not publish the key to question paper. It doesn’t give the answer sheets also under RTI claiming it’s an autonomous body. Even Hon’ble Supreme Court is unable to resolve the issue. Lakhs of FMGE rotting within India, after spending millions of foreign exchange on their medical studies.
