National Board of Examination (NBE) has released a notification that gives out the exam dates for the DNB-PDCET 2018 exam. DNB Post Diploma CET 2018 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 2018. The exam is going to be conducted for Post Graduate DNB (Secondary) Courses. National Board of Education has the responsibility of conducting the examination.
Candidates who have passed their final year exam and have been awarded the Post Graduate Diploma from an Indian Recognized University. Applicants need to have gained at least 2-year experience in the postgraduate diploma training.
Once the registration and scheduling process is over, students will be issued the DNB PDCET 2018 Admit Card. Candidates are eagerly waiting for the Admit Card dates. Students will get all the necessary details such as the Registration Number, Exam Date along with the exam venue and timing.
There is a lot of time available to the candidates which can be utilized for preparing and gathering all the original documents well in advance so that they do not face any hassle during the counseling procedure.
In the DNB-PDCET 2018 syllabus will contain questions from Human Biology (Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry), Applied Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology, Medicine and Allied Sciences, Surgery and Allied Sciences, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Community Medicine including Basic Statistics & Research Methodology. Candidates will be judged on the basis of the questions asked from these topics.
The DNB-PDCET 2018 Exam Pattern is also provided by the NBE. 300 Questions will be asked and the students will be given a time limit of 3 Hrs to complete the examination. For every correct answer, the students will be getting 4 marks whereas 1 mark will get deducted for every incorrect answer. In case the students are not sure about the answer to any specific question(s), they can keep the answer under review. However, this facility does not give the candidate extra time to answer the “Marked for Review” questions and the marking scheme will also remain the same as for other questions.
Students will also be able to download the admit card from nbe.edu.in. Candidates need to paste their passport sized photograph on the Admit Card. Also, the required documents as mentioned on the Admit Card have to be brought along with the Admit Card. Documents such as PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar Card(with photograph) have to be brought along. While the students paste their Photograph on the Admit Card, make sure that it should be a 600 dpi resolution photograph of size 35mm x 45mm. The photograph must cover 75% area and the background has to be white.
