Food Corporation of India (FCI) issued an examination notice yesterday, June 17, 2021, announcing the examination schedule for the FCI Assistant General Manager (AGM) recruitment. The notice was published on the official website recruitmentfci.in. Accordingly, the recruitment exams are scheduled for July 17 and 18, 2021. Candidates must appear for the exam as per the domain for which they have applied i.e., Accounts, Law Technical, General Administration, etc. The notice also stated that the registered candidates shall receive their call letters or admit cards by July 07 or 08, 2021. Accordingly, they can download their call letters from the official website fci.gov.in.
FCI authorities announced a tentative examination schedule for the recruitment of various posts under Category – I. According to the exam notice released yesterday, call letter or admit cards for the online selection test can be downloaded 10 days prior to the exam commencement. Hence, if the exam is scheduled to begin on July 17, 2021, candidates can download their admit cards from the official website fci.gov.in by July 07 or 08, 2021. Call letters shall indicate important information such as exam date and time, examination venue, etc.
In case a candidate is not able to download his/her admit card for the online test, they must register their grievance on the website cgrs.ibps.in as soon as possible, preferably a week before the exam begins. Aspirants are also advised to keep a track of the official website for important updates regarding the recruitment exam. Along with this, they must also bear in mind that the given exam schedule is only tentative. It may be subjected to changes depending on the feasibility of administration. In this regard, FCI’s decision shall be final and non-negotiable.
Once the call letters are issued, candidates have to visit the official website and click the relevant link. They shall also get an intimation regarding the release of admit cards via email or SMS. After clicking the required link, the window for admit card download shall open. To access the admit cards, candidates have to enter their Registration Number or Roll Number and Password or Date of Birth. After entering the required details, the call letter shall open in the next step which they have to print well-in advance before the exam.
In the call letter, candidates have to affix their photograph, preferably the same as uploaded at the time of registration. They are expected to appear for the exam on the prescribed date and time, at the allotted exam centre, as mentioned in the admit card. Candidates must also bring their call letter and original photo ID proof to the exam centre.
FCI shall be conducting the selection process for recruiting a total of 89 vacancies for the post of Assistant General Manager (AGM). The selection process shall include two stages – the online entrance exam and the interview round (for shortlisted candidates). According to the FCI AGM advertisement, the pay scale for this post shall range between Rs.60,000 – 1,80,000.
