A fake notice regarding change in RRB ALP CBT 2 exam date has been making rounds in social media. As per it, the Loco Pilot and Technician CBT 2 has been postponed to February 10, 2019, by Railway Recruitment Board. However, the notice is fake and RRB ALP CBT 2 will be held from January 20 to 23, 2019.
The fake notice created ruckus. ALP, as well as RPF SI candidates were confused by the notice because according it, RRB was receiving numerous request for change in exam date of ALP CBT 2, as it was clashing with RPF SI or academic exams. However, in the month of January, the Railway SI exam is either on January 5 – 6 or from January 09 to 13, 2019. Hence, there is no clash in the exam dates. The source of notice is not confirmed yet. It is being shared in WhatsApp, Facebook, and other popular social media platforms. The candidates are easily fooled by these notices but it is requested that candidates only consider those notices which are uploaded on the official website of 21 RRBs.
RRB ALP CBT 2 Details
RRB ALP CBT 2 is mandatory for Loco Pilot and Technician candidates. The examination is divided in two parts, A and B. The part A will be a 1 hours 30 minute examination, in which candidates will have to solve 100 questions on Maths, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, and General Awareness on Current Affairs.
On the other hand, Part B of RRB ALP CBT 2 will be 1 hour exam, in which candidates need to attempt 100 questions from DGET trade syllabus. The marks of CBT 2 part A will be used during final merit preparation. However, part B is only a qualifying examination. Candidates just need to qualify it. The minimum qualifying marks for Part A is UR-40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. For part B it is 35%.
Admit card for RRB ALP CBT 2 will release 7 to 4 days before the examination. It will be released online, on the official website of RRBs. Candidates will be able to download it via login by entering user id and password.
The admit card is an important document which should be carried on exam day. Along with the admit card, candidates will also have to carry on photo id and passport size photograph. The photo should be as uploaded in the application form. Also, the valid id proof can be Voter Id Card, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, and Passport.
