ETT Punjab Result

As per reports, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab has announced the result of the first year of 2 year D.El.Ed (ETT) course today, on December 18, 2019. Accounts suggest that ETT Punjab result 2019 of the D.El.Ed 2018-20 batch has been published at ssapunjab.org.

A little before noon today, at around 11 am, news had started to spread about the results being out. On social media, and in closed groups of D.El.Ed. 2018-20 batch candidates, some  candidates have claimed that they have been able to check their results. Though as of now, the exact direct link is not clear.

On official announcement of the ETT results, students who appeared in the exam can check theirs at ssapunjab.org. Roll numbers or relevant details are expected to be required to view marks and download e-marksheet. Usually collecting hard copy of certificates has to be done separately, from respective DIETs or centres of educations. Online results can be checked on computer as well as mobile.

Aspiring teachers of the state have been more engrossed in the news, confirmed in this case, of the PSTET being postponed again. It is informed that the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test that was supposed to be held on December 22, 2019, has now been postponed to January 5, 2020.

This is the second time that the Punjab TET has been postponed in this session. Initially the exam was going to be held on December 16, 2019 but was later delayed to the next date. And now a 20 days delay has been added to the next exam date. Moreover, the admit cards that had been issued on December 16, 2019, for the PSTET, have been cancelled and now fresh admit cards and roll numbers will be released.

The State Council of Educational Research and Training not only holds exam for enrolled D.El.Ed students, but also organizes the admission process for the programme. Usually registrations for 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or ETT are opened in the month of May. Then application forms are filled in June. then merit lists are released in June.

Last ETT teacher recruitment happened in 2015-2016, for over 4500 posts. That recruitment was carried out by the Punjab Department of School Education.

For meritorious young men and women, who wish to take up teaching as a profession, D.El.Ed is a popular course of choice. Its most important aspect is that the course can be undertaken straight out of school; class 12 pass students are eligible for the program. In Punjab, usually the minimum criteria for applying for ETT course is to have 50% marks in 10+2 for general candidates, and 45% for SC, ST candidates. Merit is prepared on the basis of marks of candidates in their class 12th qualifying exams.

Today, another state declared its D.El.Ed results; the Bihar D.El.Ed result 2019 has been announced for 1st year students at biharboard.online.
