Employees State Insurance Corporation has published a notification for the recruitment of Faculty, Super Speciality Specialist, Senior Residents, Junior Resident, Tutor. A notification with Advt. No. 05/2020 was released lately on esic.nic.in. ESIC has announced 04 vacancies for Professor, 15 vacancies for Associate Professor, 18 vacancies for Assistant Professor, 03 for Super Specialist, 47 for Senior Resident and 31 for Junior Residents and Tutors. As per the notice, ESIC is conducting walk-in-interview for the selection of candidates. Interview for each specialist and post is allocated different dates. Interested candidates can submit their applications before August 07, 2020.
The walk-in-interview commences from August 10, 2020, onwards. For each specialist in different posts, ESIC has allocated separate interview dates. Aspirants have to report at the venue as per the schedule. Refer to the official notification to know the exact dates for all the specialities that are advertised. The selection is based on candidates aggregate scores, overall work experiences, research work and NEET 2019 score for post-graduate and Super Speciality.
Eligible candidates are appointed on a contractual basis under this recruitment. Aspirants shortlisted under Professor designation receives Rs. 1,77,000/- as monthly salary, Associate Professor gets. Rs. 1,16,00/-, Assistant Professor gets, Rs, 1,01,000/-, Super Specialist working full time gets Rs. 1,75,000/-, Super Specialist working part-time receives Rs. 82,000/- for 04 hours per day and 04 weeks. Candidates appointed as Specialist full time gets Rs. 01,01,000/-, Specialist working part-time gets Rs. 60,000/- for 04 hours and 04 weeks, Senior Resident for one year contract gets Rs. 1,01,000/- and Junior Resident/Tutor receives Rs. 85,000/- as per month salary.
For teaching staff, ESIC has laid down an educational qualification requirement as per MCI guidelines. To apply for Junior Resident and Tutor, candidates must have MBBS degree from MCI recognized medical college. Moreover, they must be registered with MCI and the State Medical Council. A PG degree in respective speciality or PG Diploma is required for the Senior Resident (Super Specialist Department). Those who have DM/M. Ch is also eligible for the post. Candidates who have completed MBBS, possess a postgraduate degree in concerned super speciality and have 05 years of work experience in the concerned super speciality are eligible for Super Speciality Specialist (Full time and Part-time).
Candidate’s age must not exceed that of 69 years as on the last date of online applications for Faculty. The upper age limit for Senior Resident Tutor is 37 years for Junior Resident it is 30 years. For Super Specialist and specialist post the upper age limit of 66 years. The age limit is calculated as on the last date of online application form submission which is August 07, 2020.
The online applications form link in now active on esiccentralapp.com for Faculty and on esichydapp.com for Super Specialist/Specialist/Residents posts. Candidates have to pay Rs Rs. 500/- as application fee. However, SC/ST/ESIC candidates (regular employees)/Female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from fee submission.
