Electronics Corporation of India Limited is inviting eligible candidates to apply for the post of 285 ITI Trade Apprentices. The organization has published an official recruitment notification in this regard at the official website i.e. ecil.co.in. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online. At first, registrations must be done at apprenticeshipidia.org after which, candidates can apply for the recruitment at ecil.co.in. The application process is set to commence on August 24, 2020. The last date of submission of online applications is September 19, 2020, till 04.00 PM. Document verification is to be done from September 24 to 30, 2020. All joining formalities are to be completed by October 09, 2020, and the apprenticeship training is deemed to start on October 12, 2020.
The advertised vacancies are available at ECIL Hyderabad under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. Candidates can check the detailed vacancy bifurcation as per post and constitutional category at the official advertisement. The maximum seats are available for the trades of Electrician (38), Electronics Mechanic (81), Fitter (80) and Welder (16). 143 vacancies are unreserved. 14 vacancies are reserved for EWS candidates, 77 for OBC candidates, 43 for SC candidates and 22 for ST candidates. Candidates selected for trades of Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, R&AC, MMV, Turner, Machinist, Machinist (G), and MM Tool Maint are entitled to receive a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs 8050. Candidates selected for posts of Carpenter, COPA, Diesel Mech, Plumber, SMW, Welder and Painter are entitled to receive Rs 7700. The engagement to the apprenticeship posts is for a period of one year only commencing in October 2020.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as on October 11, 2020, in order to apply. Candidates must possess an ITI Pass Certificate in the respective trade awarded by the NCVT. In addition, the recruitment is only open for candidates who are permanent residents of the state of Telangana. Those who have already completed or are undergoing Apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible to apply. A contract of apprenticeship must be signed by candidates at the time of joining. Candidates once appointed are not permitted to withdraw without any reason that is beyond their control. Candidates who do not abide by the terms and conditions of the contract have to refund the expenses of the training and the amount received as a stipend to the company.
Eligible applicants have to register at the MSDE website i.e. apprenticeshipindia.org and generate the registration number. In order to register, candidates must upload SSC ID, Qualification, Category, PWD documents and AADHAR number. In addition, candidates must also apply for apprenticeship opportunity at ECIL Hyderabad at the MSDE Portal. Once the registration number is generated, candidates can apply online at the ECIL website for the recruitment as per the specified last date. Final document verification stage will be informed through the website and candidates have to present all documents in original. A printed copy of the online application must also be generated as it must be produced during document verification before joining.
