DU UG Registration Begins Today, Keep These Documents Ready

The University of Delhi is going to start the online registration for UG Admission 2019. Students can fill DU Admission Form 2019 by online mode only at du.ac.in. The link for online registration is going to be active soon. The online admission form for PG, MPhil and Ph.D. courses is going to release on June 03, 2019.

Last year, within two days of the opening of the registration portal, about 3.38 lakh students registered 55,000 DU seats in undergraduate courses. In the year 2017, about 3,30,567 students registered on the online portal out of which 2,21,309 completed the form.

The DU administration also released the instructions regarding the list of documents required for the admissions and registration process among other instructions at its official website. As per some newspaper reports, the varsity has decided to implement forensic checking of documents. The direction for the same has been forwarded to various colleges for the forensic test of applicants” documents after a meeting of its admission committee. Colleges will be provided with a list of impanelled agencies from where they can have the documents checked forensically.

Which Documents are Required for DU Admission 2019?

The candidates will require these documents for DU Admission 2019:

Passport size photograph
Scanned signature of the applicant
Self attested copy of Class X Board Certificate
Self attested Class XII Marks-Sheet, if result is announced. (In case Mark-Sheet is not issued by the Board then the self attested copy of the Mark-Sheet downloaded from the respective boards’ website should be uploaded)
Self attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PwD/KM/CW Certificate, if applicable
Self attested copy of income certificate (for OBC non-creamy layer) Certificate, if applicable
Self attested copy of Sport Certificate(s) for last three years, if applicable
Self attested copy of Extra Curricular Activities Certificate(s), if applicable

How to Register for DU UG Admission 2019?

To fill DU Application Form 2019, the students need to visit the official website of DU at du.ac.in. To register online, click on the tab “DU Application Form 2019”. Enter all the necessary and correct information in the registration form. Select your course, upload the required documents, photograph, and signature, etc. Pay the required amount of the application fee. Lastly, download a soft copy and take a print out of the filled-in DU Application Form 2019.

The admission process in DU will be conducted for two types of courses in the affiliated colleges; merit-based (cut-off based) and entrance based. As per the newspaper reports, the first cut-off list, based on which the merit-based admission process will be done, is likely to be released a week after the completion of the registration process.
