As the students of Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) wait with bated breath for their results, the official website of sol.du.ac.in stopped working. Whenever official websites do not work, students immediately thing it is because they are updating results. Therefore since yesterday, there has been an increased number of queries on DU SOL result 2019.
DU SOL Result 2019 of the exams held in May/June, are expected to be declared this month, in October. It may be noted that last year, DU SOL B.Com result was announced on October 11. And DU SOL BA result was declared on October 29.
Due to several reports on social media, students were expecting results in September this time. However no such official update was ever there.
As per latest reports, the DU SOL result 2019 for BA part 1, part 2, part 3, and B.Com part 1, part 2, part 3 will be announced in the first week of October.
The school of open learning will publish both BA and B.Com results at sol.du.ac.in. First, B.Com result will be announced, and then BA. For both the programs, part 1, part 2, part 3 results will be published together.
As and when the results are announced, to check them, following steps need to be followed.
First of all, students need to go to sol.du.ac.in.
Then, if visiting the site on mobile, one can see two menu buttons, one at top left and another at top right. Click on the top left one. Now click on student button, which opens a drop down. Now click on marksheet.
Those using computer to check results, can directly access the menu and click on students, then marksheet.
On the next page, enter SOL roll number, exam roll number, year of exam, course, part.
This opens the web based statement of marks, which will be valid for all official purposes. Students are also advised to later get that statement of marks authenticated by the Executive Director, SOL, DU.
The passing criteria of a paper is 40% in theory, 40 in practical wherever applicable for honours candidates.
DU SOL will also keep a disclaimer in the result saying that the result displayed on SOL DU website will be subject to correction, if any discrepancy is noted. Also, if students come across any errors then they should contact the authorities within one month of declaration of the result.
