The University of Delhi has released the revised schedule for DU PG admission 2020. Now, the admission against the first merit list will start from November 18, 2020, and will end on November 20, 2020. The notice for DU PG admission revised schedule has been released as a pdf, at du.ac.in.
The admission process for the various postgraduate courses against the 1st merit list is scheduled to begin at 10.00 am onwards. The candidates who have qualified the exam and are featured in the merit list need to fill and submit DU admission form. To fill it, candidates need to go to du.ac.in and access the candidate’s login. Then, the candidates have to upload the needed details and documents in the admission form. Due to COVID-19, the entire process of DU admission 2020 is being done online. The candidates also need to upload documents and pay fee online.
After a gap of two days, admissions shall be granted against the second merit list. It will be from November 25, 2020, 10:00 am onwards until November 27, 2020, up to 5:00 pm. A total of three days shall be given to selected students to pay their college fees. Hence, candidates can submit it until November 30, 2020, till 11:59 pm. Subsequently, classes for the new academic year shall commence from December 1, 2020.
Delhi University has also specified dates for admissions against the third merit list even after the commencement of the new academic year. Admissions to various undergraduate courses against the thrid merit list shall begin on December 2, 2020, from 10:00 am and will go on till 5:00 pm on December 4, 2020.
DU has also instructed students to pay their selected college fees latest by 11:59 pm on December 7, 2020. Authorities have also announced that provisional admissions or additional merit lists shall also be announced on the basis of vacant seats available in colleges affiliated with the university.
Authorities had previously announced in September 2020 that postgraduate admissions to various colleges shall commence from October 26, 2020. However, due to the COVID19 pandemic and rising cases in the Union territory, the university decided to postpone its postgraduate admission process. Subsequently, on October 30, 2020, DU announced the revised admission process.
