The date for the release of DU 1st Cut Off 2019 is June 28, 2019. However, as per the tradition, the University of Delhi will announce it a day before. The University confirmed it in a telephonic conversation with AglaSem that DU 1st Cut Off official press release containing the consolidated cut off for over 60 colleges will be uploaded at du.ac.in, after 6:00 pm.

The colleges under the University of Delhi also releases its DU cut off, separately, on their official website. The cut off for these colleges will also release today by the evening. Even last year, the date for the release of DU 1st cut off was June 19, but colleges like Kirori Mal, Hansraj, SRCC, LSR, Lady Irwin, Miranda House, and more released it on June 18, before the consolidates official cut off. The colleges released the cut off courses wise, for each category.
DU Cut off 2019 Expected to Go High or Low?
In comparison to last year, less number of candidates have applied this year for over 62000 seats. Last year, a total of 2.78 lakh candidates applied, whereas, this year the figure for total registration stopped at 2.58 lakh. Analysing this one can expect the cut off score to go lower than the last year.
However, the cut off of DU is prepared on the basis of numerous factors. The cut off for St. Stephen’s College has gone up by 0.25% to 2%. Pointing this out, few experts are of the notion that DU Cut off 2019 might increase.
Last year, the cut off for Hansraj college was 97.25%. For Hindu college, it was 98, and for LSR and SRCC the cut off was as high as 98.75 and 98.5, respectively. Candidates who are looking forward to getting admission in these top colleges of Delhi University can be expected DU 1st Cut Off to be around 97 to 99.
Candidates seeking admission in Kamla Nehru can expect the cut off to exceed 96, as last year the cut off was 97.75. Even for Miranda House, the cut off went 97.75, however, for Jesus and Mary the cut off was above 98%.
Kirori Mal is another in-demand college of DU. The cut off for the college last year was also 97.75. It is expected to remain almost similar year.
Candidates who will make it in the DU 1st cut off will have to download admission from form du.ac.in. Candidates then need to carry the properly filled form to the respective college and get through with the document verification process. For verification of documents, candidates need to carry class 10 and 12 marks sheet, transfer certificate, character certificate, caste certificate, migration certificate, and 2 passport size recent photographs.
