Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced examination schedule for MCD PRT recruitment 2018. Candidates who have applied for advt 1/2018 against post code 1/18 including 16/17 must appear for offline exam on notified exam dates. The board is conducting OMR based test in four batches on 30 Sep, 13 Oct, 14 Oct, 28 Oct 2018. On each of the four dates, exam will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Along with date of exam, DSSSB also notifies date of availability of admit card.
All applicants can download the same from dsssbonline.nic.in as per their batch. Those who have to appear for exam on 30 Sep must download admit card between 20 to 26 Sep 2018. Candidates who have exam scheduled on 13 Oct need to obtain hall ticket between 03 to 09 Oct 2018. Likewise applicants with exam scheduled on 14 Oct 2018 can download admit card from 04 to 10 Oct 2018. Finally candidates with exam on 28 Oct 2018 must get it from 18 to 24 Oct 2018.
In this way, every applicant gets a window of exactly one week to login and download DSSSB PRT admit card 2018. Candidates need to enter application number and date of birth to login to download admit card. Those who have forgotten their application number can enter date of birth, class 10th roll number, and year of passing class 10th to get it first.
Candidates who have come across the notification are curious to know why the exam for same post code is being held on four separate days.
Whereas DSSSB has not given any clarification about it, it is probably because there are a large number of applicants for this post and it is logistically more feasible to spread the exam across four days rather than hold it on one.
To ensure fairness of marks distribution, the board will use normalization formula as per notice no 10 (271) / Sec Cell / DSSB / 18 / 989 dated 11/07/2018. The normalization formula makes use of various parameters including standard deviation of shift with highest average score, standard deviation of shift being normalized, raw score of candidate, simple average of shift, and average corresponding to shift with highest average.
Candidates unable to download admit card from dsssbonline website should contact board. They must contact office of board through email firstname.lastname@example.org until last date of issuance of admit cards that is 26 Sep 2018 (3 PM), 09 Oct 2018 (3 PM), 10 Oct 2018 (3 PM), 24 Oct 2018 (3 PM).
It is also instructed that test takers check dress code and other guidelines from dsssb.delhigovt.nic.in before going for exam.
