Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad, has announced Phase-I seat allotment for the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) 2020. The result was announced in a press meet. Vaishnavi Gurle has secured rank 1, with 99.20% in inter. She has secured a seat in University Women College. Following her is Anil Kumar Kethavath at rank 2 with 99.10% in inter. He has secured a seat in Nizam College. At rank 3, there is Kavya Cherupalli who scored 99% and also got a seat in Nizam College.
DOST 2020 Phase-I seat allotment results have been declared on TSCHE’s website, dost.cgg.gov.in. The result is available in the login and the candidates can access it by entering DOST ID and pin. Those who have been allotted seats are instructed to report themselves on the website by paying the fee of Rs. 1000 or Rs. 500 depending on the course. Candidates also have to upload important documents to reserve their seats in the preferred colleges.
Registrations for Phase-II has also begun on the official website, dost.cgg.gov.in. The allotment of seats has been done on the basis of merit list and reservation of different categories. Candidates have to exercise the DOST 2020 web by following steps prescribed by the conducting body. After the seat allotment results, aspirants have to log-in to their candidate dashboard and avail the web options to choose their course and college, respectively. At last, they must pay the confirmation fee to secure their place in the institution. Candidates must keep in mind that web options are held according to the vacancies after round 1.
Result DOST Phase II wil be announced on September 28 and the admission process for round 2 shall continue till October 2, 2020. Candidates can register for round 2 after logging-in to the website by filling in details like registration number and password. They are required to select their colleges and preferred courses in the order of preference. These seats shall be allotted on the basis of merit, preference and reservation. Candidates satisfied with their allotted college and course have to confirm the same only by reporting for document verification and payment of fees. They are also given the option to apply for Phase-III of web options and pay the registration fee in case, they aren’t satisfied with their allotted college and course.
1,71,275 candidates registered for DOST 2020 Phase-I whereas 1,53,323 candidates exercised web options. 1,41,340 candidates were allotted seats through DOST in phase-I admission process. 1,08,289 candidates were allotted seats against priority-I whereas 1,08,289 candidates secured seats against priority-2.
