District Medical and Health Officer, Hyderabad is inviting online applications for the post of Medical Officer, Epidemiologist, Staff Nurse, Lab Technician, Pharmacists, MPHA (F)/ANMs. Candidates are shortlisted for the announced posts on a temporary basis for a period of 01 years. The service may get extended as per the requirement under the NHM for COVID-19. Candidates have to abide by the eligibility criteria that DM&HO, Hyderabad has prescribed for the recruitment. The minimum age limit to apply for the announced post is 18 years and maximum age is 34 years. The conducting body calculates the age as on July 01, 2020. To apply for Epidemiologist, candidates must have MBBS degree, Masters degree in Public Health, Council registration and at least 03 years experience. For the post of Medical Officer, candidates must have MBBS and council registration, for ANM 18 months MPHW (F) training certificate or 02 years intermediate vocational MPHW (F) and one-year clinical training or apprenticeship, GNM/B.Sc Nursing is required for Staff Nurse, Diploma in Pharmacy/Bachelor in Pharmacy for Pharmacist. Candidates must have DMLT/B.Sc Lab Technician, 02 years intermediate vocational DMLT with one-year clinical training or apprenticeship in identified hospitals completion certificate to apply for Lab Technician. In addition, candidates must be registered to the Telanagana State Council to apply for all the posts.

The selection for this recruitment is done by the District Selection Committee for the District Health Society. The members of this committee consist of District Collector, DM&HO, DCHS, Dy. Director, Social Welfare and Any other member the Chairman wish to include. The complete selection procedure is conducted for 100 marks out of which 90 marks are allotted to the marks secured in the qualifying examination. The remaining 10 marks are awarded for the age. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the above selection procedure.
