DHFW Nagaland Recruiting 195 Junior Specialist, Medical Officer & Others; Apply Before August 16!

Applications from the native citizens of the state of Nagaland are invited to fill the vacant posts of Medical Staff under DHFW, Nagaland.

Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima, Nagaland invites applications for the recruitment of Medical Staff. The posts that are advertised are of Junior Specialist, Medical Officer, Research Scientist for BSL Lab and Lab Technician for BSL Lab. For these posts, DHFW, Nagaland has announced 195 vacancies. Applications from only indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland state are invited. Interested aspirants can submit their forms on or before the last date i.e. August 16, 2020. The detailed notification can be downloaded from the official website, nagahealth.nagaland.gov.in.

Out of the total announced vacancies, 15 vacancies are under Junior Specialist post, 168 for Medical Officer, 06 for Research Scientist for BSL Lab and 06 for Lab Technician for BSL Labs. The recruitment to these posts is on a temporary basis for 12 months or direct recruitment through NPSC whichever is earlier. Candidates who are appointed as the Junior Specialist and Medical Officer gets Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500/- per month, Research Specialist for BSL labs gets Rs. 43,700 to Rs. 1,38,500/- and Lab Technician for BSL Labs gets Rs. 28,700 to Rs. 91,300/-.

Candidates willing to apply for Junior Specialist post must possess PG Diploma, PG degree or Post Doctoral in the concerned fields. To apply for Medical Officer post, MBBS or PG Diploma/ PG Degree/ Post Doctoral degree is required. Those who possess MSc in Life Sciences, have qualified NET and 05 years of work experience in Molecular Biology Techniques are eligible for Research Scientist for BSL post. They must have working experience in BSL-3 Laboratory. Candidates who have M. Sc in Life Sciences with experience in Molecular Biology Technique are eligible for Lab Technician for BSL post. Those who have MSc MLT or BSc MLT can also apply for Lab Technician post. Moreover, candidates applying for Junior Specialist and Medical Officer should be registered with the State Medical Council. After successful selection, they must transfer their registration to the Nagaland Medical Council.

The age of the eligible candidates is calculated as on January 01, 2020. Minimum age limit for Junior Specialist and Medical Officer is 22 years, for Research Scientist and Lab technician is 21 years. The upper age limit for all the posts of 32 years. However, age relaxations are provided to candidates belonging to reserved category.

The duly filled application form should be submitted through email, [email protected]. To get the application form, candidates have to visit the official website of DHFW, Nagaland, nagahealth.nagaland.gov.in. They have to navigate to the ‘recruitment’ > click on ‘applications form (PDF)’ under Advertisement for the Post of Junior Specialist, Medical Officer, Research Scientist for BSL Lab, and Lab Tech for BSL Lab. No application fee is charged for DHFW recruitment for Medical Staff.
