Directorate General of Civil Aviation has published a latest recruitment notification to fill up vacancies for the post of Flight Operations Inspector (FOI). The vacancies are available on a contractual basis in different categories. Interested candidates can read about the complete terms and conditions of the recruitment by visiting the official website at dgca.gov.in. Suitably qualified and intending candidates are invited to apply online at the aforementioned website for selection to fill up the vacant positions. The last date to apply online is January 06, 2021.
As per the official recruitment notification published by DGCA, there are vacancies are available for Dy. Chief FOI (04), Senior FOI (03), FOI (16) and FOI – Helicopter (03). In total, there are 26 vacancies available. Selected candidates are to be appointed contractually for a period of 1 year, or till they attain the age of 65 years as per requirements of these posts.
Candidates appointed to Dy. Chief FOI are entitled to a monthly salary of Rs 7,15,100 while Sr. FOI post holders are to be paid a monthly salary of Rs 6,13,500. FOI post holders are entitled to a monthly salary of Rs 4,22,800 while FOI – Helicopter post holders are entitled to a salary of Rs 2,50,800 per month.
Applicants must be adequately qualified in order to apply for recruitment to the aforementioned posts. The upper age limit is 58 years although, relaxations can be availed by candidates belonging only to special reserved categories, as per government norms in vogue. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or higher degree (Graduation/Post Graduation) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. In addition, certain technical requirements are also specified by the DGCA for respective posts. These must also be fulfilled in order to apply. Applicants must read the notification and ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions before submitting their applications.
In order to apply for this recruitment, candidates have to apply online at first and then send the hard copies of the application form along with list of specified documents to the DGCA authorities. The online application form can be filled up and submitted online at the official website of the DGCA as per schedule.
After the submission of the online application form, candidates are to receive an acknowledgement from the DGCA as well as the pdf copy of the filled in and submitted application form. The pdf is to be sent to the registered email ID of the applicant.
Candidates have to generate a print out of the PDF received and affix a later passport size photograph on it (self-signed). Candidates must also sign the printed hard copy and send it along with the specified list of enclosures to Recruitment Section, A Block, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Opposite Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi – 110 003. The last date of receipt of hard copies is January 12, 2021.
