Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited, under Ministry of Railways, has released vacancy notices for the recruitment of Chief General Manager and Deputy General Manager. DFCCIL has released the advertisement for the said posts on the official website, dfccil.com. As per the notifications, the conducting body has advertised 01 vacancies for CGM/ GM Civil for Allahabad/ Mugalsarai/ Agra location and 01 vacancies for CGM/ GM for Allahabad/ West UP locations. DFCCIL has not yet declared the vacancies for Dy GM post. Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications for the said posts within 15 days from the issue of the notice.
The recruitment for the said posts is on deputation basis. The recruitment period for all these posts is for 03 years which may get extended up to 05 years depending upon the rule of immediate absorption. Candidates who are recruited as DGM are posted at Corporate office and CGM is posted at Allahabad/ Agra/ Mulgarsalrai/ West UP.
To apply for the announced Manager level post, candidates have to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates who are applying for DGM posts should have worked under central/ state government at Senior Scale posts or 10 years service in group B. Those who are applying for CGM post must have worked under Central/ State government officers in analogous posts or SG with 17 years service in Group A. PSU employees who are working in similar posts in relevant discipline or Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- with 04 years of service are also eligible for CGM vacant posts.
Apart from the experience they also have to ensure that their age is same as specified in the notification. To apply for DGM, the candidate’s age should not be more than that of 55 years. Those who are applying for CGM vacancy have to ensure that their upper age limit does not exceed the age limit of 55 years.
Eligible and interested candidates can submit their forms through offline procedure only. They have to visit the official website of DFCCIL and get the application form for this recruitment. The application form should be accompanied by the No Objection Letter from the employer, attested APARs for the last five years, vigilance D&AR. All these documents should reach JT. General Manager (HR), DFCCIL, Supreme Court Metro Station Building, 5th Floor, New Delhi-110001 well before the last day. The envelope containing the application and documents should be superscribed with “Application for the post of _______ against Vacancy Notice no. _____”.
