Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission is inviting online applications for the posts of Joint Director, Deputy Director, Junior Law Officer, Executive Assistant and Receptionist. An official notification is recently released online at Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission website, derc.gov.in. As per the notification, the recruitment for DERC is announced for a total of 07 vacancies. Aspirants interested in the recruitment can apply for the DERC recruitment before eight weeks from the release of the advertisement.
DERC has announced 01 vacancies for each post advertised. These are the anticipated number of vacancies. These may or may not change in future. Moreover, the conducting body will be filling these vacancies either on deputation basis or through direct recruitment basis or on a contract basis.

So, interested candidates can submit their applications only after they meet the eligibility criteria. To apply for Joint Director candidates must ave Law degree and work experience. Those who are applying for Deputy Director (Traffic Engineering/ Transmission and Distribution)post should have a graduation degree in Electrical/ Power Engineering or equivalent. They should also have an analogous post on regular basis.
Applicants who have a degree in Commerce or equivalent and hold analogous posts on regular basis can submit their applications for Deputy Director posts. Those who have LLB and hold analogous posts can submit their applications for Junior Law Officer. To apply for the Executive Assistant post, candidates must have a graduation degree with relevant work experience. Those who have graduation degree and Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial Procedure can apply for Receptionist.
Also, candidates have to make sure they meet the age limit criteria as well. So, those who are applying for Joint Director (Law), Deputy Director (Tariff-Engg.), Deputy Director (Transmission & Distribution), Deputy Director (P&A). Executive Assistant and Receptionist, on deputation basis, the age limit is 56 years. For Joint Dircot Law is 50 years, for Deputy Director (Tariff-Engg.), Deputy Director (Transmission & Distribution), Deputy Director (P&A) is 50 years, for Executive Assistant is 30 years and for Recemptopiend direct recruitment is 25 years.
Eligible candidates can submit their online applications for DERC recruitment through derc.gov.in website. They first have to submit the applications only and send the hard copy of filled applications to the conducting body.
