Delhi University To Release The First Cutoff on June 18

The Delhi University will release the cut off list for the undergraduate courses on June 19, 2018. Whereas all the DU colleges will release the cutoff list on the official website today, by evening. It can come any time today as no fixed timing has been scheduled by respective colleges. Moreover, candidates will able to check the cumulative cutoffs of all the colleges tomorrow.

The merit list will contain the minimum qualifying marks to take admission in the courses of the associated DU colleges. The list will release after much nail-biting anticipation for the admission in the academic year 2018-19. The online registration has been ended on June 07, 2018, after the 23 days window. The admission is completely merit-based, depending upon the marks scored by candidates in the class XII Board Results.

This year 278,574 candidates applied for over 60 colleges of Delhi University. In which 90% of candidates are from CBSE, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Haryana boards.

The admissions after the release of the first cutoff will start from June 19, 2018, and will continue until June 21, 2019. The students will have only 3 days window to fill the admission form, document verification, and online fee submission process.

First of all, candidates have to qualify the cutoff for the college and course they want to take admission in. After checking the cutoff candidates have to log in at the student undergraduate portal of Delhi University at http://www.du.ac.in. In the student portal, select the appropriate Course and College to generate the Admission application form. Once it is done, candidates have to visit the selected college for the document verification round.

In the verification round, students carry all the essential documents along with the self-attested photocopies of the documents. You need to carry class X & XII mark sheet, class XII provisional certificate/ original certificate, recent character certificate, if applicable then SC/ ST/ PWD/ CW/ KM/ OBC(non-creamy) certificate, Transfer certificates, Migration certificate, at least two passport size self-attested photographs.

Once the verification is done by respective colleges, the principal will notify the candidates about the status of the admission in students online portal online. If successful then the students will see fee payment option in the portal dashboard.

The admission has to be paid online only using the link available in the dashboard. After you have paid the fee through net banking, credit or debit cards, then you will able to check payment status confirming or rejecting the payment. If the payment is successful then the admission process to a particular college is complete.

Candidates will also have the option to cancel the admission. So, if a candidate wants to take admission in subsequent cut-off, then you have to pay the specified Admission Cancellation/ withdrawal fee. Finally, submit the receipt in the college to withdraw the original certificates.

The second cut off will release on June 22, 2018. Similarly, more cut offs will release by respective colleges depending upon the number of seats available for the course.

Cut Off: Check St. Stephen’s College Cut Off

The first cut off has been released by St. Stephen’s College on June 13, 2018. Though admission process for all the colleges will commence from the same date.
