District Coordinator of Hospital Service (DCHS) has advertised 91 vacancies in AP Vaidya Vidhana Parishad in West Godavari District. The openings are for the posts of Staff Nurse, Bio Statistician, Data Entry Operations, and Nursing Orderly. Eligible candidates are invited to apply offline on the prescribed proforma which is available on the website westgodavari.org. The application process started on June 28, 2020. The last date of receipt of applications is July 09, 2020, till 05.00 pm.
There are 59 Staff Nurse vacancies, 01 Bio Statistician vacancies, 19 Data Entry Operator vacancies, and 12 Nursing Orderly vacancies. Eligibility conditions to apply for each post are indicated separately in the detailed advertisement. A common condition of eligibility is that candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old and not more than 42 years of age as on 01.06.2020. Candidates belonging to specific reserved categories are allowed relaxations on the upper age limit to a certain extent. A general process of selection is to be done for the shortlisting of eligible applicants. The selection process is conducted as per merit in accordance with government norms in vogue.
Candidates are also required to be compliant as per the specified minimum educational qualifications required to apply for the advertised posts. In order to apply for the post of Staff Nurse, candidates must have passed Inter and have a B.Sc./GNM Nursing qualification with registration in AP Nursing Council. Bio Statistician Applicants must have a BA (MAths)/BA (Economics)/B.Sc. (Maths) with Statistics/B.Sc. (Statistics) degree. For the post of Data Entry Operator, any graduate candidate or those having a PGDCA course are eligible to apply given that they are sufficiently experienced. Candidates who have passed SSC or equivalent with a certificate course in First Aid are eligible to apply for the post of Nursing Orderly.
The appointment of shortlisted candidates is to be done on contractual or out-sourcing basis. Appointment to the posts of Staff Nurse will be done on a contractual basis. The appointment to the other posts are to be done on an outsourcing basis. Appointed candidates are entitled to receive monthly remuneration. For Staff Nurses, the monthly pay is Rs 34,000. For Bio-Statisticians, the monthly pay is Rs 17,500. The monthly pay of Data Entry Operators is Rs 15,000 while for Nursing Orderly, the monthly pay is Rs 12,000.
Candidates are required to submit offline applications either in person or through Registered post. The application proforma can be downloaded from the website and must be completely filled up and signed by the candidates. All applications are required to be enclosed with attested copies of Class 10 & 12 marks memos, Pass certificate of the qualifying exam and marks memos of the qualifying exam (all years), registration certificate, caste certificate, study certificate from 4th to 10th class, disability certificate, ex-serviceman certificates and testimonials, service certificate and 1 photograph affixed on the application form.
