CTET Admit Card 2019 was issued by CBSE eight days ago at ctet.nic.in. However, a common issue troubled several candidates – image discrepancy.
The process of downloading CTET admit card is to go to ctet.nic.in, click on admit card link, and then login with application number and date of birth. Several candidates were confused to not find their admit cards upon logging in, and instead saw a message that said that their image had discrepancy and they had to remove it.
Initially this issue was met with a lot of confusion. However, candidates soon figured out the subsequent steps. Anyone who gets this issue, has to click on the remove image discrepancy button, and check which image has discrepancy. This is achieved by looking at which image has edit option below it. Then they re-upload that image as per prescribed dimensions and specifications.
The next hurdle was the question, on what happens after editing new image. Candidates tried to login again and get their admit card. This proved futile as there was no admit card at login immediately after editing the image.
Then a few candidates, after trying many a times, realized that they were able to download admit card 24-48 hours after re-uploading the new image. Few also confirmed that they got SMS that their re-uploaded image has been checked by admin.
Thus, if candidates reading this news are also getting remove image discrepancy error at CTET admit card 2019 download, then they have to first re-upload image correctly. After that they have to wait a little while and login again to download it. Also, one can keep checking SMS for message from CBSE about status of their new image.
