Aspirants of CSIR NET Dec 2018 can check their application status now at csirhrdg.res.in. Human Resource Development Group of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has activated the link to check the application status December 04, 2018. The application process ended on December October 17, 2018. All the candidates who have enrolled their names before the deadline, have to enter the form number and date of birth to check the status.
The candidates whose application form will be accepted by HRDG only those will be issued the admit card for the examination. The CSIR National Eligibility Test will be held on December 16, 2018. And as per the official notification, the admit card for CSIR NET exam will be released 10 days prior to the exam at the official website.
The anticipation of admit card is on December 06, 2018. However, this is totally the speculation and got after the calculation of the dates. There is no official notification on the issuance of the admit card. It is vital to carry the admit card on the day of examination.
The exam will be held in two shift, in the morning shift (09 am to 12 noon) the candidates have to appear in Life Science and Physical Science exam. And in the afternoon shift (02 to 05 pm) the question paper will hold the questions from Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences. Each paper will be of 200 marks. The mode of the exam is offline pen paper based, candidates, ahve to marks the correct answer on the OMR sheet. The question booklet will be printed in English and Hindi, but the candidates who will opt for Hindi/English, his/her booklet will be printed in Hindi / English only.
The candidates should note that there is a negative marking in the exam, but in each section have different criteria for marking scheme. CSIR has chosen 27 cities to conduct the examination, but the actual exam center will be provided on the candidate’s admit card as per his/her preference.
After successful conduction of examination, the Council will release the answer key of each paper. Then candidates will able to send their objection to the board with proper explanation. After considering them the final answer key will be released. At last, the result will be announced on the basis of the final answer key, in March / April 2019. The fellowship of the selected candidates will be applicable from July 01, 2019.
