75% Attendance is Mandatory For CBSE Class 10 12 students

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notice to the schools for class 10 and 12 students. Board has instructed the schools that it is must for the students to maintain their attendance ad 75% till January 01, 2019. If any student who are going to appear for the exams for an academic session 2018- 19 doesn’t have atleast this percentage of attendance. Then he/ she will not be allowed to appear in the board exams. This is the first time that CBSE is going to take such a strict decision against the students of class 10 and 12.

Keeping in mind the Delhi High court’s decision CBSE has passed this rule for the students from CBSE board of class 10th and 12th. As per the reports, from January 01, 2019 internal assessment of students from both classes will start. Also after January 15, 2019, no requested letter regarding attendance will be accepted. As a result of less percentage then 75% a student will miss out a chance to appear in the board exams.

This is really a big surprise for the students of class 10th and 12th. As for preparing for the board exams students give little preference to be attended in the schools. But for the year 2019 CBSE is coming with a number of changes and the list is not yet ended.

Maintaining the 75% attendance is made compulsory due to the High court decision for declaring the result a bit earlier this time. If we look back then HC has ordered CBSE to declare the result including the revaluation result before the Delhi University (DU) admission process. Apart from this CBSE is going to = conduct the exams of class 10th and 12th for the vocational subjects first in the month of February followed by the core subjects in the month of March.

Students are eagerly waiting for their date sheet for session 2018-19. CBSE date sheet 2019 is expected to release earlier than the previous year. Through reports, this came to know that CBSE will first release the date sheet for the practical exams expectedly by December 11. After this, the board will come up with the date sheet of the main examinations expectedly by the second week of January. Around lakhs of students have registered themselves under CBSE board. At the same time, these number of students are waiting for their entire schedule. As CBSE has only confirmed this that the exams will conduct only after February 15. So, guys have some patience we will soon come back with your date sheet.
