Job alert for 10th Pass; CPCL Hiring 142 Trade Apprentice, Details Here

Online applications are invited by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited for the vacant post of Trade Apprentice before November 01, 2020.

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited or CPCL is inviting online applications from 10th pass candidates for the vacant posts for Trade Apprentices. An official notification is also published with Advertisement No. CPCL/TA/2020-21 advertising 142 vacant posts. The link to submit CPCL Trade Apprentice application is functional from October 18, 2020 onwards at cpcl.co.in. Eligible candidates are suggested to submit their online applications before November 01, 2020.

The post of Trade Apprentice is vacant under several trades. The list is as follows – Fitter, Welder, Electrician, MMV, Machinist, Turner, Mechanic (Ref. & Air-Cond.), Instrument Mechanic, Draughtsman (Civil), Draughtsman (Mechanical), COPA, Food Production (Gen), Laboratory Operator (CP), Attendant Operator (CP), Accountant, Back Office Apprentice, Executive (Marketing), Executive (HR), Executive (CS), Office Assistant, Warehouse Exe. (Rec and DES), Store Keeper, Data Entry Operator and Executive (F&A).

The selection to these vacant posts is done based on the marks secured by candidates in their respective ITI trades/ Degree. Thereafter, aspirants are invited for the verification of the certificates and their medical examination. The exact date for DV round and medical examination will be announced later on through CPCL website.

Candidates who are appointed for respective trades have to undergo a 12 months Apprenticeship Training. For Store Keeper and Data Entry Operator, the Apprenticeship Training is conducted for 15 months. So, the aspirants recruited under these trades have to undergo training likewise. During the training period, candidates also get a consolidated monthly stipend as per the notification.

CPCL Trade Apprentice 2020 Notification

In order to submit applications, candidates must have passed 10th class. Along with that, they shall also possess ITI in the relevant trade with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD). To apply for Warehouse Executive, Office Assistant, Store Keeper and Data Entry Operator candidates must have passed 12th class. Those who have an MBA degree can apply for Executive (Marketing), Executive (HR). Candidates with MCA degree can apply for Executive (Computer Science). B.SC/ B.Com candidates can apply for Laboratory Assistant, Attendant Operator and Account post. While applying candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and more than 24 years.

Before applying for Apprentice posts, candidates have to register themselves through Apprenticeship portal – apprenticeshipindia.org/candidate-registration. Also, aspirants should possess PAN card, aadhar card and a ba account to apply. Thereafter, candidates can proceed to apply for CPCL recruitment by visiting the official website, cpcl.co.in. Once candidates have submitted their applications, they get the option to generate a print out of filled application form. Aspirants have to download the form and keep it for the verification round.
