CMAT 2019 Analysis Released

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2019 has been over on January 28, 2019, at 12:30 PM. As per the reactions of students on social media, the difficulty level of the exam was quite easy. Candidates could able to complete the exam in less than the allotted time period. CMAT 2019 test takers could easily able to attempt 90-95 questions with more than 90% accuracy. Only the GK section was a little tricky. The exam had no sets and the paper was similar for all the students.

On the exam day, there were some issues faced by candidates who didn’t have the complete documents. Test takers without photographs faced inconvenience while taking the entry in the examination hall. As per the official notification of the NTA, it was essential to carry a copy of admit card (preferably colored), identity proof, and a photograph.

As per social media, candidates are claiming that some questions in the exam were wrong.

For CMAT 2019, 64,582 candidates were registered to appear for the exam. The test was scheduled to take place at 183 centres in 84 cities (24 States/UT) all over India. Also, the exam centres had been allocatted at the North Eastern States for 403 candidates and in Jammu and Kashmir for 1197 candidates. Male candidates who had applied for the exam were more than female candidates by 4588. The registration by general, OBC, SC, and ST candidates were 47504, 12908, 3158, and 1012 respectively.

Due to inclement weather in Jammu, NTA has rescheduled the exam date for 187 candidates. For them, the exam will take place on January 29, 2019, between 09:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Such candidates now have centres in Srinagar. The updated information has been sent to candidates on their email and mobile numbers.

Once the exam is over, candidates will able to check the CMAT 2019 Answer Key on the official website. NTA releases the answer key and response sheet three to fours days after the examination. Students will able to cross-verify the marked answers with the official answer key. In the key, correct responses will be given as per the option Id provided in the response sheet.

In the case of the doubt(s), candidates will also able to raise the objections. The window to challenge the answer key opens for four days only. After the verification of all the claims, NTA will publish the final answer key and the objection fee for the valid doubts will be refunded.

The result for CMAT will release by February 08, 2019. The result will contain the candidates’ performance in terms of percentile. As the exam was easy this year, the overall cut-off for CMAT 2019 accepting institutes will be quite high.
