The Consortium of National Law Universities is going to display the final answer key of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 today, on July 27, 2021. The answer key is released on the official website of Consortium, at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT 2021 exam was held on July 23, 2021, for UG and PG courses.
In order to download the answer key, candidates have to visit the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Thereafter, they have to click on the “Final Answer Key CLAT 2021” link. Doing so will open a pdf file on the screen, candidates then can compare their answers. Candidates can add 1 mark for every right answer and deduct 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. This will help them to calculate their probable scores.
Further, the result of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 is scheduled to be declared on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. The result will be declared in form of a consolidated merit list. CLAT results carry the details of the scores of the candidates. It will decide the candidates’ eligibility for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate law colleges in the state.
Candidates who are able to secure their place on the merit list will be called for the CLAT Counseling 2021. The registration process for CLAT Counseling will begin from July 29 onwards. The consortium will invite approximately five times the number of seats in each category, for the counselling registration.
Here is the CLAT 2020 cut-off in order to give an idea to the aspirants that how the cut-off of 2021 might look like. Though the reports suggest that the CLAT 2021 cut-off for the top 3 NLUs is expected to be between 90 and 95, whereas, the expected cut-off for the top 10 NLUs is likely to be ranging between 98-103. However, the final cut-off will be decided by the respective NLUs after the declaration of results.
As far as CLAT 2020 cut-off is concerned, the highest cut-off was of NLSIU Bangalore. The institute accepted ranks between 1 and 97. The lowest cut-off was of HPNLU Shimla in which ranks between 585 and 9149 were accepted. Similarly, for the year 2019, NLSIU Bangalore accepted ranks from 1 to 54. In DNLU Jabalpur’s accepted ranks were between 991 and 1263. In 2018, NLSIU Bangalore cut-off rank was 1-66 whereas, for MNLU Aurangabad the cut-off rank was 1503-1588.

Based on the CLAT 2021 exam calendar, the counseling registration will take place from July 20-30, 2021 up to 12 noon. While filling up of preferences (minimum five preferences), candidates will have to pay Rs. 50,000 to block or book the admission seat.
Further, the first allotment list will be published by all the NLUs on August 01, 2021. With this, the process of payment of fees to the respective NLUs will also commence. The candidates will have to either accept the seat by uploading their documents, making payment of the fee; or apply for an upgrade; or exit the admission process. The process is to take place from August 01-05, 2021.
Once the first allotment is over, the NLUs will release the second allotment list and start the process of payment of fee from August 09-10, 2021. Candidates who have registered for the CLAT counselling 2021 and those who applied for up-gradation in the first allotment list will be eligible for the second list.
